Established in 1985 by three partners who brought into it their rich professional experience (the Engineer responsible for the R&D and design of the equipment is a 2-generation converter himself, professionally grown-up in the abrasive converting company established by his father; the Managing Director was formerly during 20 years of activity Sales Manager for the leading Italian maker and converter of coated abrasives; the Production Manager has a 30 years long experience in production management and logistics as well as safety, mechanical and electrical manufacturing standards - 15 years as QC leader of G.E. Italy) Metis is nowadays one of the leading companies in the field.

What we do
Specialising in complete lines and specific machines for coated and non-woven abrasives converting, Metis puts emphasis on innovation as well as on users-friendly technical solutions.
Metis equipment provides high quality and performances, but also a very high degree of flexibility, which is required by the vast majority of converters, who need to guarantee a consistently high quality of the finished product at competitive manufacturing costs, but also provide a fast service to their customers.
With over 60 % of Metis products already installed abroad, not only in Europe but also overseas, in the US, as well as in many countries of the Far East, Australia and New Zealand and South Africa, we feel prepared to share the experience accumulated in these years and propose our services to converters worldwide.
